Hiring Business Development Manager - Jersey City

Our client is looking for a passionate, energetic and innovative individual, who will be able to open, identify and analyze client accounts, in order to build targeted relationships from the prospect stage through the closure stage. The candidate will be responsible for selling offshore IT services including Information Management, Application Development, Testing and Mobile application development services.

Job duties / Role:
·    Responsible for new business development in the defined geography and identifying, processing and closing new sales opportunities within the specified region.
·    Pro-active prospecting via cold calls, emails, industry conferences as primary sales channels.
·    Responsible for positioning IT services - including Information Management, Web application development and maintenance; Testing, Managed Services and Mobile.
·    Responsible for managing commercial negotiations with prospects and clients.
·    Should have demonstrated ability and maturity to sell and build relationships with C- Level executives.
·    Identifying prospective opportunities & create the go to market strategy.
·    Adhere to sales processes and methodologies set-up by company. Report on all parameters including but not limited to revenue numbers, collections, forecasts etc. as relevant for management.

Essential skills:
·    A minimum BA/BS Degree with minimum 8+ years of industry experience in the specific geography.
·    Proven experience in selling/managing large multi -year deals.
·    Proven capability to develop and manage sales opportunities from beginning to end including qualification, proposal, final selection, due diligence and closing.
·    Must have ability to develop and sustain effective new business relationships with clients in order to leverage and set up effective commercial deals.
·    Should have worked with reputed software services companies selling IT solutions / software services, in these countries and other markets.
·    Experience  in  selling  offshore  services  with  deep  understanding  of  IT  services landscape, competitive dynamics and knowledge of customer needs.
·    Proven ability to identify, shape and convert business opportunities in line with portfolio targets, meeting the necessary risk and profit requirements, so as to meet and surpass business development targets.
·    Well-developed network of contacts at a “C” level in client companies.
·    Must possess excellent people / communication / presentation skill with high energy levels.

Salary - $100K+/- + Incentives
