Manager - Supply Chain/Sales and Marketing - Rerefined oil

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Manager to oversee our feedstock acquisition and finished product sales and marketing programs. As a Manager with Southeastern Petroleum, you will report directly to the CEO as you monitor market conditions and develop strategies to maximize profit margin. Primary tasks of the Manager include: • Sourcing used oil feedstocks from collectors • Marketing refined base oils and products to industry buyers • Negotiating used oil purchase agreements and finished product sales agreements Job Responsibilities As a Manager, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with industry suppliers of used oil and buyers of refined oils and fuels. You will also build on your existing relationships with major collectors of used oil and your established network of blenders/compounders to market our services and grow our business base. Additional responsibilities of the Manager include: • Monitoring supplier adherence to contracts • Developing strategy models for optimizing feedstock source timing and quantities and minimizing costs • Reporting supply chain performance metrics Job Requirements You must have the drive and desire to seize a high-growth business opportunity in a fast-paced environment. You must have previous experience with establishing new networks and sources for re-refined oil and lubricant product sales. You must be able to sell and market to blenders and users of refined oil and have familiarity with blending compositions to achieve API requirements. You must have experience with analysis and price adjustment for both collections and end-use sales in a continuous manner that maximized profit spread. You must also have experience with collection route optimizations for assigned plant locations that increased efficiencies and improved cost savings. Additional requirements for the Manager include: • College degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field • Minimum 10 years sourcing and marketing leadership experience, primarily in the re-refining, refining and/or chemicals industry • Experience marketing, quoting, pricing and hedging in the area of re-refining used oil and the sale of base oils and re-refined products • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time • Strong existing relationships in the re-refining industry preferred • Professional certifications such as CPM, CIRM or CPIM a plus Benefits We offer healthcare benefits and a 401(K) retirement plan. The facility uses a sophisticated chemical process to refine spent lubricating oils to create clean virgin base oils which are blended with motor oils for use in internal combustion engines.
