Hiring Senior Business Analyst in Maryland
- Assist the business in evaluating priorities, advising business partners on options, risks, and costs vs. benefits of various solutions.
- Assist the business in identifying, assessing, and documenting business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into IT application impacts and business process impacts.
- Creates functional specification documentation that consiste of use cases, including documented workflows and business rules, screen prototypes and user and application interface designs to communicate planned system functionality.
- Defines and assists Development with designing technology based solutions to meet business requests within established technology frameworks
- Accountable for providing analytical expertise on application and process knowledge to recommend solutions that meet the business need.
- Provides estimates based on work effort and application knowledge.
What
Education/Experience do we Need?
- At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology, business process engineering, and business system analysis with a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance/Accounting, or related discipline.
- 5 years experience working in a large corporate environment in accordance with agile concepts.

- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with all levels of the organization and geographically distributed teams including offshore.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team player; leading the group to develop alternative solutions to complex problems, thinking outside the box, encouraging concensus and recommending the best solution
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, presentation skills, problem solving and decision making abilities.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work efforts
- Proficiency in Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint is required
