Hiring Technology Solutions Account Managers - Insurance Vertical
Our client is a global technology solutions provider with revenues of approx $1B
They are looking for professionals with 5 to 15+ years experience sales/ client management of software solutions with specific exposure to the insurance vertical
Key Accountabilities:
Manage and ensure high quality end
to end delivery for the respective Line of Business
(and in some cases multiple) LOB’s
and maintain SLAs, service quality etc, oversee and mentor all delivery
personnel in the account/project
Autonomy
Has defined authority and
responsibility for a significant area of work, including technical, financial
and quality aspects, establishes organizational objectives and delegates
assignments, accountable for actions and decisions taken by self and
subordinates for that respective LOB.
Complexity
Highly complex work activities
covering technical, financial and quality aspects and contributing to
formulation of IS strategy for the LOB. Work
involves creative application of wide range of technical and/or management
principles.
Business skills
Can absorb complex technical
information and communicate effectively at all levels to both technical and
non-technical audiences. Is able to assess and evaluate risk and to understand
the implications of new technologies. Demonstrates clear leadership skills and
the ability to influence and persuade.
Has a broad understanding of all
aspects of information systems and deep understanding of area(s) of
specialization. Understands and communicates the role and impact of information
systems in the employing organization. Takes initiative to keep both own and
subordinates’ skills up to date and to maintain awareness of developments in
the information systems industry.
Description
Takes responsibility for the
delivery of high-profile projects and programs of work, typically with large
budgets, establishing and maintaining the correct structures to control and
monitor the deliverables to the business.
Liaises with other managers within
the IS and IT functions and within the business; manages expectations of all
project stakeholders Recommends cancellation of projects, and initiation of new
projects, within the program.
Ensures that realistic project,
quality, and risk plans are prepared and maintained for projects and
sub-projects. Monitors and controls team performance against plans. Maintains
effective financial and project progress forecasting, and reports as
appropriate.
Monitors and reports on the progress
of systems development projects. Maintains an emphasis on the early
identification and, where possible, rectification of problems and deviations
from schedule, including changes in requirements, especially where these have
resource implications.
Monitors and controls allocated
human and material resources, associated revenue costs and all capital costs
against the project budget. Ensures that a change control procedure is in
place, and actively used to assess the effect of changes to the projects on
costs, timescale and/or resource needs and reports these to project sponsors.
Takes responsibility for systems
development personnel overseeing, in association with others as necessary,
their recruitment, training and development.
Participates in strategic
decision-making (typically in relation to organisational development policies)
at senior management level. Generates development strategies to achieve
required change, and monitors progress.
Identifies risks and informs them to
customer
Identifies risks from customer
organization (e.g. less participation) and escalates the same to superiors for
timely mitigation of the risks.
