Hiring Sales Director - Product Dev Services - W/ E Coast

Client is a global software services providor.

Reporting to the Vice President (PES Sales), the Sales Director will be responsible for the company’s sales & business development operations in the Outsourced Product Development (OPD) Services. A solid understanding of the offshore services model is mandatory. The successful candidate should have worked in the North American market, and should have an established network of business relationships.
The ideal candidate will possess prior sales/sales management experience in selling offshore outsourced product engineering services to global clients. The ideal candidate would have managed revenue streams from $1-10M; appreciates and is familiar with being a “roll up the sleeves” individual contributor; enjoys working in a high energy and competitively-charged business culture; is hungry to win again and can demonstrate high personal and company growth acceleration over the past six years.

Specific Duties:

• “Deal Maker” an individual who can contribute, sell directly and close business
• Develop and implement effective sales tools, forecasts and measurements.
• Coordinate the sales processes to ensure that the next sales milestones (per projections) are achieved.
• Possess a team-oriented approach to achieve the company’s goals.

Criteria for the Position:
• Ability to identify and take advantage of opportunities within ever changing offshore outsourced software services market place.
• Capability to create, develop, enhance, implement and execute a comprehensive sales strategy and plan.
• Ability to effectively negotiate and close sales.
• Individual must be a team player, solely focused on the total success of the company, as opposed to individual sales success.
• Must have a compelling and verifiable track record of success, as an achiever in the software services field.
• Minimum of 7 years direct sales experience selling OPD related offshore services and business solutions.
• Energetic, confident, and driven individual with strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Ideally, he/she will have a blend of both large company and small company experience, possessing a strong team orientation and entrepreneurial nature.
