Hiring Steel Detailing Manager - India or USA

Our client is based In India and provides integrated design, engineering, procurement, construction and project management services in the energy and infrastructure sectors. With operations spread across the Middle East, Africa, the Caspian, Asia Pacific and South Asia, Punj Lloyd provides EPC services in Oil & Gas, Process, Civil Infrastructure, and Thermal Power. Our client is today a diversified conglomerate, owing to its successful foray into aviation, defence and upstream, through its subsidiaries and joint ventures. The Steel Detailing Manager will be the a key person for our client and will work out of the detailing office in New Delhi, India. Should have managed a detailing department of at least 10 detailers while being employed full time by either a structural steel fabricator a local steel detailing company in the US or Canada. Should have had already at least 10 years in the area of steel detailing & checking of steel detail drawings. Should have worked extensively on X-Steel for at least 5 years. The Steel Detailing Manger will be responsible to increase the quality & productivity of our detailing team in India by implementing best practices for steel detailing services being followed in the US. For this the individual will be based In India for at least one year after which the person may relocate, if desired to his/ her country of origin.
