Urgent need for a Java Developer (with Cloud – AWS)

Location: Birmingham, AL

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 months

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

·         3+ years Java Developer with desirable experience in Amazon Web Services projects with good communications skills and organization.

·         2+ years experienced in other web oriented development technologies will be an added value (Node.js, Javascript, ...).

·         5+ years Experience in SQL and No-SQL Database design and querying.

·         Desirable Expertise proved in Agile project methodologies.

·         Focus on technical perspective thinking out of the box.

·         Proactive in solution finding for incoming daily technical needs.

·         Highly desirable Experience in API Managers (Apigee, Layer7 or similars)

·         Desirable Experience in defining, implementing and managing RESTful services and service based modeling languages (RAML, Blueprint, Swagger, ...)

JOB DESCRIPTION (RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS, AND OTHER SPECIFIC FEATURES OF THE POSITION): 

·      Familiarity with SCRUM and SCRUM processes, including but not limited to facilitating scrum planning sessions, daily standups, and removing escalations for the team.

·      Proactive approach and communicate status to stakeholders effectively

·      Team leadership and ability to inspire and motivate

·      Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills

Added value: Knowledgeable on Mobile Banking environments and able to manage relationship with stakeholders in technical areas such as Security, Architecture, Communications and Systems Infrastructure, including Cloud teams
