Global Sales Head - Valves, Welding Products & Cutting Tools - Chennai, India

Our client is a multibillion dollar company with diverse business interests within the group.

They are looking for an individual to be based out of India, to head their sales for the following product lines:
Valves: Client provides flow-control solutions to a wide spectrum of industries worldwide. Our client has an impressive track record in the international oil & gas sector and counts among its customers, oil majors such as ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, BP, Saudi Aramco and EPC contractors like Technip, JGC, Bechtel, Fluor, Snamprogetti and Foster Wheeler. Our client is India’s market leader in valves. The range comprises gate, globe and check valves, process and pipeline ball valves, valves for power sector, pressure-balanced plug valves, butterfly valves including the triple-offset range and special-purpose valves for defense and nuclear industries
Welding products: Client’s Welding Products Business Group provides solutions for Welding, Cutting and Wear Protection of Metal Parts. Our client markets a wide range of sophisticated application-engineered EUTECTIC welding alloys, patented processes and systems for reliable reclamation of critical and expensive components. The product range includes – 1) Electrodes, Flux cored wires and Gas Alloys for Repair & Maintenance Welding. 2) Standard and Engineered Wear Plates to suit the customer requirement. 3) Fronius make Inverter welding machine 4) Thyristorised step switched and Inverter MIG machine 5) Oxy fuel cutting, heating, brazing and gas regulating and safety systems.
Cutting Tools: Our client’s Industrial Products Business Unit markets metal working tools and provides application engineering and after-sales service. Being a full line supplier of tools, the products cover the entire range of turning, groove turning, drilling, milling and holding tools among others. These products are used in the automotive, engineering, mould making, bearing and miniature machining sectors. The offerings also include providing tool management services and productivity improvement programs to customers.

Client is looking for individuals with around 20 years of global experience in sales and sales management related to the products with a strong experience in sales to the Oil & Gas and related industry. They offer an attractive salary along with other benefits
