Hiring Allegro Technical Analyst in Houston TX

The Technical Analyst is a member of the IT group responsible for providing critical system support for the gas and power trading unit. The Technical Analyst will be part of the team responsible for the maintenance and development of the Allegro system, and will work with the development group in maintenance and development to satisfy business needs.  In conjunction with the central IT teams, the Technical Analyst will also ensure that all systems are properly evolved through the Software Development Life Cycle methodology, tested and placed into production when ready.
 PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 
  • Knowledge of software development cycle, defining requirements, designing technical solution, preparing unit and user acceptance test cases, and documentation
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience providing support for Allegro, with experience in both Natural Gas and Power commodities
  • Extensive working knowledge of SQL queries
  • High level capability working with Excel
  • Understanding of natural gas / power deal entry, scheduling, risk, credit operations, confirmations, month-end accruals, settlements, and payment & collection
 SKILL / KNOWLEDGE:
  • Monitor application performance and identify causes that could impact system stability
  • Assisting on the identification and resolution of system gaps and recommend changes
  • Act as liaison between user’s functional requirement and Development team, suggesting ways to better attend business needs
  • Maintain and register administration and technical tasks in a system of records
  • Assist users with Allegro and system integration usage and issue identification/classification
  • Help develop and perform unit and regression testing on custom functionalities and interfaces
  • Assist the business in performing user acceptance tests
  • Provide support for Allegro and its integration with external and corporate systems
  • Administer security and status of multiple development, testing and production environments
  • Work with the vendor’s Client Services support team to solve application technical problems
  • Participate in projects related to Allegro in order to guarantee application continuance

Hiring Barge Engineer for Abu Dhabi

A major offshore company needs a Barge Engineer iin Abu Dhabi.

Role: To supervise and co-ordinate the provision of various support services on assigned marine rig covering loading/offloading and movement of cargo on the rig, jacking controls, ballast, safety environment and fire fighting equipment and teams, cleaning and painting together with all marine equipment on board. To act as the focal point on the rig for accountability of maintenance by means of applying the Preventive Maintenance Schedule (PMS). To take charge of the rig during rig moves by manning jacking controls and ensuring that all equipment is secured and ballasting is correct. To monitor, co-ordinate and maintain associated records of all preventive maintenance activity on an assigned rig.

Minimum Requirements :
B.Sc. in Marine Engineering or equivalent.
6 years' related experience preferably on rigs similar to those used by NDC.
Good knowledge of spoken and written English.

Head of Global Sales will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing the sales and marketing business strategy and activities in order to meet the Company’s objectives for business retention, growth and profitability in the Oil & Gas Vertical. The job holder will oversee the Global Sales activities; and provide leadership and expertise to deliver efficient and focused sales and marketing strategies, in order to achieve the Company’s strategy, growth and profit objectives. The Head of Global Sales will be in charge of directing marketing operations, sales operations and ensure customer retention. The individual should have experience in managing client revenues of at least $150M in the Oil & Gas Vertical

Key responsibilities

Strategic planning and implementation
 Lead the development and implementation of the Company’s marketing strategy ensuring alignment to the overall business plan to sustain business growth and profitability.
 Formulate business strategies responsive to changes in market environment.
 Formulate and implement the public relations, branding and customer service strategy that will portray a good image of the company at all times and enhance customer service standards.
 Reporting and representation of the sales and marketing function in senior management and board committees. Sales and Marketing Management
 Review and approve regional sales and marketing activities to ensure attainment of business plan objectives.
 Monitor the business, sales and activity plans in line with the approved budget.
 Monitor competitor activities for competitive advantage.
 Accountable for market analysis, brand support and positioning.
 Review business investment proposals from the regions, in liaison with the management team

 Lead the sales and marketing team to achieve customer retention by providing efficient customer service. Human Capital Management
 Provide leadership and ensure efficient and effective management of staff to ensure departmental targets are achieved.
 Engage, develop, deploy and retain talented staff including completing performance appraisals and personal development effectively and on time in accordance with the established performance management system. Financial Management
 Formulate and plan the department’s annual budget within the context of the Company’s overall budget.
 Develop, implement and monitor the sales and marketing (income and expenditure) budget to ensure it is within approved limits.
